After 20 years of being unable to cross to el otro lado (México), Esperanza finally returns with Advance Parole under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) for the first time. Esperanza comes across various circumstances- family members, a childhood past lover and culture shock.
Monarca is part of the FRIDA KAHLO 10-Minute Theater Festival Part 4, from May 3 thru May 26, 2024. Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, Sundays at 4 PM.
